Summer Employment Opportunity with RHS

2/27/2020

Penn Residential and Hospitality Services (RHS) is looking for three new Move-In interns to work with us (starting as soon as possible) throughout the summer, and perhaps beyond. Please check out these job postings for the Move-In Interns position and the Senior Move-In Intern position and do reach out to me (through bsd-rhsops1@pobox.upenn.edu) if you are interested in learning more about the positions. These positions come with free on-campus housing during the summer, and requires about 29h/week of work during the first half of the summer and up to 40h/week of work starting around late July.

I took on this job my freshman summer, not knowing much about what was in store, but I’m definitely grateful for all the unique experiences and lessons I’ve learned through the job. My supervisors are the best bosses I could have ever asked for, giving me the perfect mix of guidance and independence as well as challenges and encouragements. I also loved spending my summers in Philadelphia, especially in the first half of the summer where I would pick up a second job, travel on the weekends, and enjoy my time off from school with friends who were also in Philly.

If this sounds like your perfect summer, I highly encourage you to let me know and contact me about the positions!
PS: although this is a summer position, there are always opportunities for the positions to extend into the school year, if you are interested.
