The Truman Scholarship awards merit-based scholarships supporting graduate study to “change agents” who plan to pursue public service careers. Students apply for the Truman Scholarship during the fall of their junior year. Learn about the Truman Scholarship application process from CURF's Truman advisor and 2019 Truman Scholars Louis Lin (COL ’20) and Ángel Ortiz-Siberón (COL ’20).

Penn's four 2019 Goldwater Scholarship recipients – Chloe Cho (SEAS '21), Lauren Duhamel (SEAS '20), Srinivas Mandyam (COL '20), and Abigail Poteshman (COL '20) – will share their experiences and advice on applying for the Goldwater Scholarship as a sophomore or junior for future STEM researchers.
