HIAS PA is a refugee resettlement agency in Center City. Students would receive training and materials to prepare them to provide job readiness training to HIAS PA clients and therefore add capacity to HIAS PA’s employment services. By volunteering with HIAS PA, you will meet and work with other people that are passionate about supporting refugees and immigrants and be instrumental in an individual’s increased independence, social mobility, and opportunity in the United States. The term client is used to refer to refugees and asylees served by HIAS PA.
