Women's Week is a week of programming centering women, gender equity, and social justice that takes place in Spring 2020! Penn Association for Gender Equity (PAGE) is very excited to be hosting a week dedicated to women, especially those of marginalized identities (WOC, LGBT), and are looking for motivated, dedicated, and hard-working people to help us with the planning.

As we approach the National First-Generation Celebration on November 4-8, 2019, the Office of Penn First Plus is looking to record faculty and staff narratives about their academic experiences as first-generation undergraduates as well as their experiences as first-generation faculty and staff at Penn. Given the many misconceptions about first-generation undergraduates and their capacity to succeed at Penn, highlighting the achievements of established scholars and professionals serves to shift the narrative from one of limitations and high-need to one of ability, strength, and contributions to academe and broader society.
To such ends, P1P invites you participate in sharing your academic journey while being filmed. In advance of being filmed, you will be provided a list of questions from which you can choose a handful to answer. We have blocked the following dates and times specifically for faculty and staff:
If you cannot make these times, but want to participate, we will work with you to schedule another session. Because each session will take half an hour, we encourage you to RSVP by Monday, October 7, 2019, to ensure your spot using the following link:https://forms.gle/6CiubUfysYY5UMPF7.
The Songwriters Collective is expanding and looking for students with proficiency on an instrument (voice counts as an instrument) who are excited about writing original songs, inspired by poetry. No prior songwriting experience required. Members make close friends and songwriting colleagues through the intimacy and productivity of the group, including multiple bands that have been spawned from the collective.
The Songwriters Collective is a diverse group of Penn undergraduates who come together to support and challenge each other to write original music in a spiritually connective environment. We meet 8 times over the course of a semester on Sunday evenings (7-9) culminating with a concert in which members share the song(s) they are most proud of from the semester.
For those interested in applying to the collective, please send a video or audio clip of you singing or playing a song, plus a paragraph about why you want to join the collective to Micah Shapiro email@example.com and Jacob Hershman firstname.lastname@example.org.
